For more than 20 years, Cultural Heritage Research Services, Inc. (CHRS) has been providing comprehensive archaeological, social science research, and historic preservation services to governmental and private clients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, New York, Virginia, and West Virginia. CHRS is organized around a core staff of professionals with extensive experience and broad backgrounds in cultural resource management. We offer expertise in prehistoric archaeology, historic archaeology, urban archaeology, industrial archaeology, historic structure evaluation and documentation, archival and oral history research, museum and exhibit design, and historic preservation procedures and planning. CHRS's highly trained and experienced personnel have conducted cultural resource management projects of every scope, from preliminary location and identification studies, through the evaluation of National Register of Historic Places eligibility, to large-scale data recovery, architectural documentation, and creative mitigation projects such as illustrated books and video documentaries. CHRS has developed a strong on-time record. We have consistently demonstrated an ability to meet tight project deadlines, which can help clients avoid costly delays.
