Since 2000 HDFEST has been presenting HD only film festival and digital cinema panels and seminars. This means we're serious about HD. We will not show anything else, period. While a handful of other film festivals will screen just some films in HD, HDFEST is committed to screening projects exclusively in HD, which originated exclusively in high-def (or hi-def). HD in- HD out. Since 2000, HDFEST has known that high-def and digital cinema are the future of the entertainment industry. Since that time, HDFEST has been at the heart and core of this revolution. Industry executives and working professionals alike have confirmed HDFEST played and continues to play a vital role in the acceleration of this transition. For years, HDFEST has been producing all high-def film festivals all over the globe. Since HDFEST's inception, there have been 23 HDFEST events in 10 cities from LA and NYC, to London and Helsinki, to Sydney, Australia. In addition to screenings of movies, HDFEST events also include panels and seminars on high-def filmmaking and digital cinema with some of the industry's leading experts.
