Swim in the crystal clear waters of the Saco River. A huge beach awaits your lawn chair or blanket at The Beach Campground. Many campsites are right along the river or beach, some offer the cool shade of tall trees, and others are sunny. Some sites have mountain views. A great place for families... There's a playground for kids, video games, a recreation pavilion and a nightly wagon ride. For the more adventurous, you may bring your own canoe, tubes and bicycles. Favorite activities include tubing lazily along the Saco River, taking a canoe trip through covered bridges and along the beautiful New Hampshire countryside. Let's not forget about fishing... The Saco River is stocked with Trout each year. For biking , hiking or sightseeing, the Kancamagus Highway, only 2 miles away, will take you deep into the White Mountain National Forest.
