Bridgton Academy is the only preparatory school in the nation exclusively devoted to the postgraduate year. Our focus is solely on a postgraduate program committed to helping young men develop the academic skills, study skills, self-discipline, and self-confidence necessary to succeed in college. We offer several programs tailored to the needs of the postgraduate student. Through the College Articulation Program (CAP), qualified students at Bridgton may take courses for transferable college credit. Eighty percent of the past five graduating classes have taken at least one CAP course at Bridgton. Additional programs include: the Program for Academic Support (PAS) for students with diagnosed learning disabilities; the Writing Program; and the SAT Preparatory Program.
