LSB Corporation is a bank-holding company conducting business through its subsidiary, River Bank (the Bank). The Bank offers various financial products to the general public. These products include loans for residential real estate, commercial real estate, construction, consumer and commercial businesses. The Bank offers various deposit accounts including savings, checking, money market, certificates of deposit and individual retirement accounts. The Bank invests a portion of its funds in federal funds and investment securities. The Bank has three wholly-owned subsidiaries, Shawsheen Security Corporation and Shawsheen Security Corporation II, which are engaged in buying, selling, dealing in and holding securities for their own accounts. Spruce Wood Realty Trust holds real estate used in the ordinary course of the Bank’s business. The Bank’s primary market area is northeastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
