Info
Princeton Event Consultants was founded in 1992 by Charrisse Min Alliegro. A former Wall Street strategic planning executive with an M.B.A. from Columbia, Charrisse traded the Street for full-time wedding planning after receiving -- and responding to -- a flurry of calls from friends who were panicked brides-to-be. Charrisse's skill for research and eye for detail soon attracted an international clientele that includes Fortune 500 executives, celebrities and high-profile politicos. Thanks to enthusiastic word-of-mouth (not to mention a lavish spread in InStyle magazine) the firm expanded into corporate event planning, a move that was aided by the arrival of Jennifer Goubeaud in 1996. Jen brought with her extensive experience in planning and running international trade shows. Before long, she became the lead on-site manager for the firm's events. In mid-2000, Jen became owner of Princeton Event Consultants. In describing her role to brides, Jen says it's more than choosing invitations and tasting cakes; she becomes the brides right-hand assistant as well as the project manager for the entire event. The firm's truly full-service approach has led to exposure in such media as Aquent Magazine/1099, an online magazine which was named a hot site by USA Today, "The Budget Wedding Sourcebook" by Madeline Barillo, The New York Times, Philadelphia Magazine, The Newark Star-Ledger, Central Business New Jersey, Elegant Bride, Bridal Guide, Bride's, Martha Stewart Living, New Jersey Bride and Philadelphia Bride, among many other publications. Princeton Event Consultants is also a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants.
