Webconsuls , LLC
Info
Most Webconsuls' clients' businesses are comprised of a brick and mortar location that is the business consists of a real location, such as a bed and breakfast, a medical or legal office, a retail store, a theatre or real estate office. These firms generally sell products and services through facilities, complete with a U.S. Postal Service address. There is however, another kind of business entity and it exists entirely on the internet. Companies like Amazon do not welcome customers to a physical business location; their entire business is e-commerce (electronic commerce). These use software known as an online shopping cart. The software allows customers to place items in the cart. Upon checkout, the software is programmed to calculate a total dollar amount for the order, including shipping and handling (i.e. postage and packing) charges and the associated taxes, as applicable. Other functionalities, including encryption and secure certificates will enable payment by credit card. A few of Webconsuls' customers combine e-commerce with their business and to further marketing success and income. For example, a country inn might do e-commerce by selling gift certificates, a non-profit organization may set up e-commerce to take donations on line, or a theatre may set up e-commerce to sell tickets on-line. If you have a need for e-commerce, then Webconsuls can work with you to design and create a shopping cart or, as is often the case, recommend and assist with the selection (and setup) using an existing software package. There are firms that offer excellent packaged online carts that are very affordable and easy to use. Be sure to consult with Webconsuls if you are now considering any e-commerce options.
