Tony received his undergraduate degree from Northeastern University in Boston. After relocating to Southern California, he spent three years in municipal management with the City of Lakewood and pursued a Master's degree in Public Administration at California State University, Long Beach. Employed by Ralph M. Parsons of Pasadena from 1980 to 1985, he served as an official representative of the Saudi Arabian Royal Commission overseeing the design, development, and management of facilities, programs, and services for a new city being built from scratch on the coast of the Red Sea. In 1986, he joined a well-established national outplacement firm - and a new career was launched. He went on to serve as Executive Vice President with three regional outplacement firms. Along the way, an international consulting engagement and a growing number of referred clients led to the creation of Matthew Ryan & Associates. The premise on which the firm was established beckons attention today - Quality of service will drive our success and our success will be measured by the success of our clients. Tony has served on the board of directors of several businesses and professional organizations including the Orange County chapters of the International Association of Career Management Professionals and the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association. He is also active in the International Coach Federation and has a strong connection with the Afghan Girls' Fund and the Asia Foundation. His overt commitment to partnering with clients remains the firm's most distinguishing feature. Tony lives on Naples Island in Long Beach with his wife and two children. Prior to joining Matthew Ryan & Associates in 1995, Robert served as an adjunct consultant with two regional career transition management firms. Using a combination of assessment instruments, he helps people better understand their own personality, how they are perceived, and the characteristics of business settings in which they are likely to be most effective. Robert earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Chicago and a Master of Theology from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. Additional post-graduate studies were completed at Tufts University in Boston. Ordained more than thirty years ago, Robert has touched the lives of thousands. His work with personality profiling began in the late eighties. Robert has served on the governing bodies of several organizations. As an advocate for continuing education and personal development, he played a major role establishing a regional arts festival in New England and formed a foundation that brought public television to El Paso, Texas. He and his wife Catharine live in Newport Beach. Jacqueline is an accomplished professional coach and has worked with clients of Matthew Ryan & Associates as well as those of Drake Beam Morin, one of the largest human resources consulting organizations in the world. She has played an important role in the transitions of senior level managers in a wide range of fields. Jacqueline is a CHICoach certified from The Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, an internationally recognized master's equivalent program. She has also completed advanced certification programs in Emotional Intelligence, Benchmarks 360 degree Feedback, and Executive Peak Performance. While earning her undergraduate degree at California State University, Fresno, she studied the foundations of effective communication as a requisite to change management. Jacqueline works closely with clients to develop and support personalized career advancement plans. Jacqueline is active in the Orange County chapters of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association and the International Coach Federation. Living along the coast affords Jacqueline opportunities to pursue her interests in art and sailboat racing.
