IEC Electronics Corp. (IEC) is an independent electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider of complex printed circuit board assemblies and electronic products and systems. The Company provides electronics manufacturing services with manufacturing capabilities. Utilizing automated manufacturing and test equipment, IEC provides manufacturing services employing surface mount technology (SMT) and pin-through-hole (PTH) interconnection technologies. IEC offers its customers a range of manufacturing services, on either a turnkey or consignment basis. These services include product development, prototype assembly, material procurement, volume assembly, test engineering support, statistical quality assurance, order fulfillment and repair services. In June 2008, IEC completed the acquisition of Val-U-Tech Corp., a privately held manufacturer of wire harness assemblies.
