Customers: We've developed a strong presence in high-value markets through the provision of mobile data and internet services. By 30 September 2004, our business was serving 22 million mobile customers in the UK, Germany, Ireland and the Isle of Man. Turnover: Our combined group turnover for the year ending 31 March 2004 reached £5.646 billion, up 22% from the preceding year. Group turnover for the half year ending 30 September 2004 reached £3.285 billion. Data represented 21.9% of the total service revenues in the quarter ending 30 September 2004. Innovation: mmO2 was the first company in the world to launch and rollout a commercial GPRS (or 2.5G) network and has secured third generation mobile telephony ("3G") licences in the UK, Ireland and Germany. Cohesion: September 2001 saw the launch of our group's new consumer brand, O2. Encouraging brand understanding will help to reinforce a consistent vision and strategic focus across our group.
