The University for Peace, established by the United Nations General Assembly, will offer Global Courses on Natural Resources Policies for Peace Building (September 23 to October 9, 2002) and Environmental Conflict Management (November 26 to December 7, 2002) in San José, Costa Rica. Each will consist of two intensive weeks of academic activity for professionals in the fields of natural resources, conflict resolution and peace.
