The Museum of Modern Art's collection includes a full spectrum of late nineteenth-century, twentieth-century, and contemporary art works. Its many masterpieces include some of the best-known works by Cezanne, Chagall, Dali, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Kahlo, Kandinsky, Matisse, O'Keeffe, Picasso, Pollock, and Warhol, along with works by other artists of equal significance. In addition to painting and sculpture, MoMA possesses extraordinary holdings of drawings, film and media, photography, prints, and illustrated books, as well as one of the most complete architecture and design collections in the world, spanning Art Nouveau to the present day.
