Why do I need MarketXT? The current inefficiencies of the trade execution process provide a huge opportunity for the next generation of financial intermediaries. With that opportunity in mind, MarketXT's goal is to improve the equity execution process for institutional investors. Who uses the MarketXT system? Subscribers include leading institutions, Nasdaq market makers and broker-dealers. Does MarketXT engage in proprietary trading? MarketXT does not engage in proprietary trading. We remain neutral while you maintain your anonymity throughout the entire trading cycle. How do I subscribe? Review our access criteria and provide your contact information online, or contact us directly. How do I connect to your system? Once you have subscribed, you can connect using a dedicated MarketXT line, your proprietary line or a managed network provider. Orders may be entered using our web-based @vantage front-end, through a dedicated connection, or your existing third-party Order Management System. We are flexible and will provide alternatives that best fit your needs. What are the ECN's hours of operation? The MarketXT ECN is open 7:30 AM to 8 PM ET, every trading day. Which stocks can be traded using the MarketXT system? We currently offer Nasdaq Small Cap and National Market Stocks. New York Stock Exchange (listed) and American Stock Exchange issued securities will be available soon. How does your technology work? We also offer access to our own MarketXT ECN as a fast, cost efficient solution for order matching. Once my organization has subscribed, what is involved in implementation? Our Connectivity Group will discuss your goals and work with you to find the best and most efficient solution for your needs. As a client, you can contact your third-party order management system, trade blotter, or service bureau to work with us to create a direct connection. You can also connect to us through our front-end system and through a direct (FIX) connection. Our dedicated testing and certification staff will work with you throughout the integration process. Which ongoing support services will you provide? We continually work with our customers to enhance our routing and execution system, as well as our front-ends. If you have specific needs, we will work with you to provide a tailored solution. We will also be available for testing and certification when necessary, and work with your networking group to resolve any routing or connectivity issues.
