Info

A long-standing member of the Art Dealers Association of America, Jason McCoy, Inc. was established in 1982, specializing in American and European modern and contemporary painting, drawing and sculpture. Historical exhibitions play an important role in our program. Projects concerned with the photographic work of Constantin Brancusi, as well as catalogued installations based on previously unpublished works by Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner, remain a continuous focus. In addition, we equally seek to provide contemporary artists with a solid podium that aids in contextualizing today's concerns with those formulated by modern masters. Our core artists include Cora Cohen, Sidney Geist, Virgil Grotfeldt, Eric Holzman, Terrell James, Martin Kline, Li-lan, Masayuki Nagare, George Negroponte, Peter Schlesinger, and Christian Vincent. Since 1989, the Gallery has been located in the Fuller Building in Midtown, New York. In addition, Jason McCoy, Inc. holds two large private exhibition spaces, located in Chelsea, New York and Copenhagen, Denmark, where periodically changing installations often evolving monumental sculptural works, can be viewed by appointment. Over the years, Jason McCoy, Inc. has both aided in the formation and represented various estates, including the estate of Giorgio Cavallon, Frederick Kiesler, Jackson Pollock, and Leon Polk-Smith. The Gallery continues to provide private collectors and institutions with a wide range of appraisal and advisory services, concerning past and future acquisitions, as well as curatorial projects.
