GreenShift Corporation (GreenShift), formerly GS CleanTech Corporation, develops and commercializes clean technologies that facilitate the use of natural resources. GreenShift sells the corn oil it extracts for biofuel production and the refined vegetable oils it extracts in its crushing facility into the food markets. The Company conducted its operations, during the year ended December 31, 2007, in four segments: Equipment & Technology Sales, Culinary Oil Production & Sales, Biofuels Production & Sales, and Diversified Environmental Services. In January 2008, GreenShift sold its interest in GS EnviroServices, which carried on its Diversified Environmental Services business. On February 29, 2008, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company filed a certificate of ownership and merger merging the subsidiary into GS AgriFuels.
