G-III Apparel Group, Ltd. (G-III) designs, manufactures and markets a range of outerwear and sportswear, including coats, jackets and pants, as well as women’s suits and dresses. The Company sells its products under licensed brands, its own brands and private retail labels. It provides apparel to retailers under brands, such as Macy’s, Nordstrom and Saks. The Company operates its business in two segments: licensed apparel and non-licensed apparel. The licensed apparel segment includes sales of apparel brands licensed by G-III from third parties. The non-licensed apparel segment principally includes sales of apparel under the Company’s own brands and private label brands owned by retailers. In May 2007, G-III acquired Jessica Howard Ltd. and Industrial Cotton, Inc.
