Flexitoon™ is an award-winning puppet production company established in 1979 by puppet artists Craig Marin & Olga Felgemacher. Millions of children have grown up watching their puppets on the 10-year hit PBS series Shining Time Station, starring George Carlin and Ringo Starr. (Newsday raved: “the best American part of the show was a group of zany puppets known as Flexitoons.”) Other Flexitoon credits include designing, building, and performing puppets for 260 one-hour episodes of Nickelodeon’s inaugural series Pinwheel (TIME magazine called Pinwheel’s puppets “the best”); 13 episodes of the Weekly Reader series KIDS-TV on Showtime; and The DJ Kat Show that ran five days a week for nearly two years on FOX. The Flexitoon TALKING STAIN commercial for Tide-To-Go was voted the #3 SUPER BOWL COMMERCIAL OF ALL TIME, and the Viewer's Choice Award for FUNNIEST OFFICE COMMERCIAL IN THE WORLD. It also won the Silver Lion at Cannes. Other commercial and corporate clients include Minolta, Wisk, McDonalds, Hardees, Kraft, Teledyne, Oxydol, P&G, Johnson & Johnson, Ortho Diagnostic, Merrill Lynch, Beecham, and Ford.
