EME Group is a partnership founded by Erik Neumann and Mike McNamara in 1987. Mr. Neumann and Mr. McNamara have nearly six decades of combined experience in providing professional engineering services throughout the country. Both partners have nearly three decades of experience providing professional engineering design and consulting services. Over the last decade we have merged our energy analysis experience with our MEP design experience to provide "one-stop-shopping" for efficient sustainable building design. We have provided these services to educational, healthcare, multi- family residential and commercial facilities. We have offices in New York and Albany and currently provide services throughout New York State. EME Group is a member of the United States Green Building Council. The USBGC is a community of leaders working to transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, envisioning an environmentally responsible, healthy and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life. Our staff includes a full range of technical specialists including licensed professional engineers, Certified Energy Managers, LEED Certified designers, technicians, junior and senior level engineers and computer programmers, who all specialize in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and energy systems design. We utilize the latest technology including AutoCAD 2006, email and management software as tools in our projects. We incorporate a professional level of expertise to each project, ensuring that critical deadlines are met and technical challenges are resolved. Our comprehensive services make it easy for us to coordinate efforts then meet our clients' demands quickly and cost effectively with thorough research and accurate analysis.
