East River Medical Imaging is the first free standing imaging center to acquire the new GE LightSpeed 16. This new 16-Channel Multidetector CT scanner adds a new dimension to diagnostic imaging with higher resolution and quicker scan time. The 16 Channel Lightspeed CT Scanner has the ability to scan faster with sub-millimeter resolution and dose optimization. The Lightspeed16 obtains diagnostic quality images at minimum patient dose. Multiplanar reformatting (MPR) and advanced 3D applications are enhanced by cubic voxels.
