(CNS), together with its wholly owned subsidiaries manages high-income equity portfolios, specializing in United States real estate investment trust (REIT), international real estate securities, preferred securities, utilities and listed infrastructure securities and large cap value stocks. The Company serves individual and institutional investors, through a range of open-end mutual funds, closed-end mutual funds and institutional separate accounts. It also provides investment banking services to companies in real estate and real estate intensive businesses, including healthcare. The two segments of the Company are Asset Management and Investment Banking. In October 2007, the Company launched the Cohen & Steers SICAV Asia Pacific Real Estate Securities Fund, an open-end mutual fund for the non United States investors.
