The company, which is privately held by employees and management, was established in September 2000. Appilog is headquartered in New York City. Research and development subsidiary Appilog Logview Ltd. is located in Israel. The company is one of several organizations - selected from hundreds - to be awarded development funding by Israel's chief scientist. Appilog evolved from a development team within Xor Technologies Ltd., active since 1996 in the implementation of large-scale enterprise system management projects. In 1999, recognizing the significance of focusing IT management on business services, Xor created a new business unit that began developing the technology that became the basis for Appilog's PathFinder.
