Angelo, Gordon Acquisition Corp. is a blank check company formed for the purpose of consummating a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or other similar business combination with one or more operating businesses. The Company's efforts in identifying a target business will not be limited to a particular industry or group of industries. As of April 22, 2008, its efforts have been limited to organizational activities. The Company has not identified any acquisition target, and it has not, nor has anyone on its behalf, initiated any substantive discussions, informal or otherwise, with an entity with which it may consummate its initial business combination.
