AGMB specializes in the representation of lenders that participate in all aspects of residential and commercial lending. AGMB has experience in closing virtually every type of conventional, non-conventional and government sponsored mortgage product in the complex residential lending arena. These include mortgages secured by condominiums and one to four family houses and loans secured by cooperative apartment shares and proprietary leases. AGMB has expertise in all phases of the preparation, closing and shipping of less frequently utilized loan programs, such as FHA, SONYMA and VA loans. An important portion of AGMB's lending practice focuses on representing lenders in connection with Reverse Mortgages and Reverse Coop Loans and the specific needs associated with closing these types of transactions. In addition to representing its lender clients in connection with originations, AGMB also represents many of its lenders in the capacity of escrow agent, transfer agent and "pay-off" representatives. AGMB regularly provides advice to the firm's mortgage banking and broker clients with regard to state and federal regulatory and compliance issues. Furthermore, AGMB assists its clients in obtaining and maintaining various licenses.
