Flatiron is a New York-based venture capital firm that develops and nurtures companies who are shaping the future of technology. With an emphasis on early stage investments in emerging technology, software and services, the Flatiron partnership has invested in 60 companies since 1996, and has established numerous innovative and market-leading enterprises. Flatiron Partners' limited partner is JP Morgan Partners (formerly Chase Capital Partners), a global partnership with over $24 billion under management. Flatiron stopped making new investments in the summer of 2000 and has been managing its existing portfolio since that time. Currently there are 15 companies in the Flatiron portfolio.
