With the exclusive Unibody System by OBECO, a City Stake Body adapts many of the heavy-duty ag-body features into a unit perfect for industrial and general truck use. Easy-to-remove side and rear sections permit access to every part of the platform for faster cargo handling. Built of either pine, hardwood or corrugated steel, the OBECO City Stake can also be used with the OBECO SX Platform, designed for light-duty use and without an underbody hoist. Optional swing-out sections are available for side and rear use. Each 5" wide, 16-gauge steel slat on OBECO City Stake Bodies has a smooth, clean hemmed edge and a durable, double-rib construction that's welded at each contact point to a 14-gauge stake. The 40" Steel Body uses four 5" wide slats. Four 6" wide pine slats riveted to 14 ga. steel stakes or five 4" wide hardwood slats riveted to hardwood stakes are available for wood bodies. Built with 16-gauge cold-rolled steel for maximum strength and standard heights of 40, 48, or 54 inches handle a wide variety of cargo requirements. The OBECO Contractor Bodies have a rugged foundation of the Unibody Platform the versatile hinged design of an optional "post-free" body. The double-action power of OBECO's "Stinger" Hoists. Built solid with 11-gauge steel sides, reinforced with 14-gauge steel stakes and heavy-duty upper and lower rails. A rugged 40" high, 11-gauge bulkhead that gives you the protection you need and full width window for great visibility. A convenient feature is the 2-way rear gate. Lets you hinge up or down, even completely removable. The hoists to handle the load, with double action power and stability the "Stinger's" heavy-duty double-action cylinder, with power up, power down. Forward mounting on the frame of your truck also gives you a better lift at lower P.S.I.'s. All OBECO "Stingers" are powered by a positive piston pump. Operates either clockwise or counterclockwise, eliminating P.T.O. modifications. Shur-Lok, the preferred rollup tarp, because of its unique design ensures the tarp will fit tightly every time. Unmatched quality mean longer life and a superior fit minimizes fabric movement and reduces wear. Zinc plating protects all hardware pieces, and the tarp is constructed of durable 18- or 22-oz. vinyl fabric. That material is pliable up to 40 degrees below zero, is flame and tear resistant, and will not shrink, rot, mildew, or leak. One person can open or close the Shur-Lok from one location on the ground. With absolutely no climbing necessary and there's no ropes, straps or cables to come loose or break when you're out on the highway, Shur-Lok is the safest to operate. What makes the Shur-Lok safe also makes it fast. The opening, closing, latching and tightening functions are all accomplished with the Shur-Lok crank.
