Originally founded in 1983, Delta Engineering has worked closely with the FAA to obtain or issue many FAA Supplemental Type Certificates, over 500, and various other FAA approvals. Delta Engineering has obtained or issued FAA Supplemental Type Certificates for nearly every system that is typically installed into an airplanes cockpit, whether it be a multi channel digital autopilot, air data system or just a communications system. Delta Engineering has obtained or issued FAA Supplemental Type Certificates for many cabin interior installations whether a corporate operated aircraft or an air carrier Boeing 747-400. Currently, Delta Engineering is in the process of obtaining FAA Type Certificate for an aircraft. Through our ongoing investment in the industry Delta Engineering has the following FAA authorizations, DAS, CRS, PMA, PC, ODAR, DER, DAR, Minor Change. Delta Engineering has these authorizations so that we can help our customers be compliant with the FAA's regulations and support on time deliveries. Delta Engineering has the ability to ship parts to an aircraft modification and the parts be classified as airworthy upon issuance of the FAA Supplemental Type Certificate, where some think upon issuance of FAA Form 337 that the parts become airworthy, which is not supported by FAA regulations. In accordance with FAA Order the 8130-3 indicates the parts are airworthy without further showing.
