Independent Steel Castings Company utilizes an IBM AS-400 server with Microsoft NT system management. Attached to that server are PCs for every workstation in our facility! We use BLS-400 software to track every step of the operation for total quality management and process control. We also have added another feature -- SOLIDWORKS 3-D COMPUTER AIDED DRAFTING. Using this CAD software we can provide engineering services to our customers. We are able to model new near net shape castings that can replace your expensive fabrications. We can take your fabricated weldment information and quickly review it in our new CAD SYSTEM to see if an investment casting will reduce your manufacturing costs, eliminate multi-part inventory control cost, and in general, make some production control/scheduling nightmares go away!
