Formerly the Specialty Paper Division of Imation Corporation, the company was acquired by Dunsirn Partners in mid 2005 and named Nekoosa Coated Products. Why are we in the specialty paper business? We realized that we had expertise in areas not typical to the paper industry. Not typical, maybe, but useful. Our leadership in precision coating, microencapsulation, and imaging chemistry made our groundbreaking carbonless paper and inkless identification systems possible. Our capabilities in cutting and perforating meet a need that most paper producers can't address. In short, our expertise in diverse areas has made for imaginative new solutions for businesses and institutions such as printers, banks, and hospitals.
