The Louisiana Music Teachers Association is a non profit organization of 400 teaching professionals in both independent studios and academic institutions who are interested in promoting high quality music teaching and performance in our state. We have been proudly affiliated with the Music Teachers National Association since 1952. If you are a music teacher in Louisiana and do not belong to LMTA, we encourage you to avail yourself of the many opportunities for you and your students.
