This is especially true of our urology department. We are proud to be the first hospital in Mississippi to offer the Ultrasonic Lithoclast as another modality for treatment of kidney stones. This breakthrough in lithotripsy technology allows us to treat the entire urinary tract for all compositions of kidney stones, small and large. This equipment, along with laser and lithotripsy procedures, establishes Natchez Community Hospital as a full service kidney stone center. As part of our urology department, we provide: dialysis treatment, oncology treatment for bladder and prostate cancer, full modality services for urinary incontinence and equipment to treat pediatric urological problems. These, along with treatments for most other urological problems, make us a center of excellence for urology care. But here at Natchez Community Hospital, we're more than just our equipment.
