(iCAD) is a provider of computer-aided detection system (CAD) solutions that enable radiologists and other healthcare professionals to serve patients by identifying pathologies and pinpointing cancer earlier. Performed as an adjunct to mammography screening, CAD is also reimbursable in the United States under federal and most third party insurance programs. Since receiving United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for its first breast cancer detection product in January 2002, over 1800 of iCAD’s CAD systems have been placed in mammography facilities worldwide.
