Hard Hat Services was founded in 2000 as an environmental design-build firm focused on building long term relationships with clients in need of system and process enhancements for sustainable production. Based in Naperville, Illinois, Hard Hat Services expanded their permanent offices to include Indiana, Wisconsin and Kansas, allowing them to service clients across the country. Hard Hat has also greatly expanded its intellectual resources, employing engineers, project and construction managers, scientists, and CAD designers. In January 2006, Hard Hat Services completed the acquisition of Harrington Engineering & Construction Inc. In addition to engineering and construction, Harrington specialized in marine design, sediment restoration, and dredging, thereby expanding Hard Hat Services' capabilities, reach, and range. Hard Hat has experienced substantial growth since its inception and has received a variety of awards commemorating its financial growth and business achievement. Today Hard Hat Services provides clean, green, sustainable solutions to clients across the country in the markets of manufacturing, food processing, beverage, steel, dairy, utilities and superfund sites to name a few.
