PROFESSIONAL PROPERTY SERVICES, LTD. is a small company owned and operated by Cindy and Harry Van Mater, offering full service Residential Property Management, Appraising and Lead Based Paint Inspections to owners of single family homes in Frederick and Washington Counties, Maryland. Both Cindy and Harry are licensed real estate brokers in the state of Maryland, Harry with over 50 years experience in the business of appraising, building, consulting, investment counseling and managing real estate in Washington and Frederick Counties. Harry has attained the (GRI) Graduate REALTORS® Institute, (CRS) Certified Residential Specialist, (CRB) Certified Residential Broker and (CCIM) Certified Commercial and Investment Member real estate designations from the National Association of REALTORS®, the Residential Management Professional (RMP®) and the (MPM®) Master Property Manager from NARPM. He is a licensed Maryland Lead Inspector, and has attended numerous educational courses. He has become the "expert" on "Lead Paint and the Law" so he can help property owners understand the process of both Maryland and Federal Lead Paint Laws and the consequences for not complying. Cindy has specialized in residential Property Management for over 20 years, and has earned the professional designations of Residential Management Professional (RMP®) and Master Property Manager (MPM®) from the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). Cindy has been in the real estate profession since 1978 in Frederick and has attained the GRI, CRS and REALTORS® Associate of the Year Awards. Harry and Cindy formed their own firm, PROFESSIONAL PROPERTY SERVICES, LTD. in 1991. The office is centrally located in Myersville, Maryland, midway between Frederick and Hagerstown, and is equipped with all the essential state-of-the-art equipment and support materials necessary to render quality service and product, including, but not limited to computers; fax machine; copiers; instant paging; mobile phones; support staff; membership in the local, state and national Associations of REALTORS® , the Metropolitan Regional Information System (MRIS) Multiple Listing Service, and The National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). We also have the appropriate business liability and professional liability "Errors and Omissions" insurance.
