Medwedeff Forge & Design, established in 1988, produces large-scale public sculpture, sculpture for exhibitions, and high-end architectural and decorative functional pieces. The 6000 square foot studio encompasses all of the equipment of a traditional blacksmith shop as well as industrial metalworking technologies. A 30 foot tall crane bay allows for the vertical construction of very large pieces. We are also a major supplier of steel and bottle gas to area contractors, researchers, and artists. John Medwedeff brings over 20 years of design and metalsmithing experience to each piece. He is able to move complex projects from the design stage through installation, coordinating efforts with those of his clients, architects and general contractors while guaranteeing the master craftsmanship of finished work.
