Crescent Moon Coffee & Tea was started by Ron & Sharon Vaccarello of Mullica Hill, NJ in 2004. Ron had a large background in Packaging Sales and marketing as well as being a patent holder for a new and innovative packaging system that is used widely in the industry today. Sharon has a long history in Retail Sales and Customer Service as well as being a stay at home mom for 12 years to their boys, Andrew & Tyler. Sharon & Ron both agreed that there was a great need for a good quality coffee shop/café in Mullica Hill and together, they joined the Specialty Coffee Association and set out to learn as much about the specialty coffee industry as possible with large amounts of seminars and training to bring the town a high quality coffee roaster/café as well as a place to gather, unwind and create an environment that has a sense of community. Ron is a member of the Roaster's Guild and an active Artisan Roaster. Real families and farmers spend long hours each day tending to their land, trees and beans trying to provide the highest quality coffee bean to the Specialty coffee industry that hopefully will be bought at fair market prices and help feed their family. We at Crescent Moon want to share that love of coffee with others and that is why Ron continues to bring the best attributes of the bean out and to the customer. Sharon is a member of the Women in Coffee Alliance, which provides an opportunity to travel Origin and see first hand where and how the coffee is grown. They also offer valuable information so that women can be a dominant force in the industry to help the local farmers and coops create a better existence for their families. Together, with help from our team of staff members, we want to create that sense of community, gathering spot and all around caring environment reaching around the globe.
