PurpleYogi was founded in September 1999 by Rakesh Mathur, Ramana Venkata, and Ramesh Subramonian who shared a common frustration with the current tools and techniques for managing the explosion of information networks. They founded PurpleYogi with the vision of using technology to effortlessly connect people with the information they needed and wanted. PurpleYogi, Inc., is comprised of proven technology industry veterans from leading organizations such as Intel, IBM, NASA, Synopsys, Oracle and Microsoft. Our engineering team includes experts in architecting, developing and delivering complex software systems, including 15 PhDs with expertise in linguistic analysis, information theory, machine learning, artificial intelligence and data mining. PurpleYogi is headquartered in Mountain View, California with a research and development facility in Bangalore, India.
