Avidia is a privately-held biopharmaceutical company discovering, developing and manufacturing a new class of human therapeutic proteins known as Avimerâ„¢ Proteins. We are engineering these Avimer Protein drugs against multiple validated and novel targets to address a wide range of disease areas, including inflammation, oncology and neurology. By leveraging our Avimer Protein discovery and development engine, we have built and will continue to steadily fill our product pipeline with proprietary programs and partnered programs. These products may provide significant improvements over existing therapeutic modalities, such as antibodies and peptides. Our strategy is to leverage our expertise in the design, selection, clinical validation and manufacture of Avimer Proteins to rapidly develop a versatile portfolio of proprietary products. We plan to develop certain product candidates to the point of clinical proof of concept and to then potentially partner them provided this optimizes the value of the particular asset.
