Gretna Theatre, a professional nonprofit 501(c)(3) summer stock company located in Mt. Gretna, Pennsylvania, has been producing quality live theatre since 1927 at the Mt. Gretna Playhouse. We are proud to continue this tradition with a great lineup of shows, including a Mainstage series, Monday Night Series and our Childrens Theatre Series as well as our Annual Gretna Gala Idol Scholarship Competition.Directors, Designers and Technicians are hired locally and nationally. Actors audition both locally and in New York City, usually in March of each year. The summer season typically runs mid-May through mid-August.We look forward to entertaining you this coming summer ... a new summer of excitement at Gretna Theatre!
