Trimeris, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company primarily engaged in the commercialization of a class of antiviral drug treatments called fusion inhibitors for use in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) treatment. FUZEON is the Company's first-generation HIV fusion inhibitor, developed in collaboration with F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. FUZEON, under a Development and License Agreement is distributed and sold by Roche in countries where regulatory approval has been received.
