BCD was established in May of 2005 to better serve the Western Colorado diving community. Owned and operated by Tim Decker and his family the Montrose location has all the things any local dive shop could offer. Tim's background includes more than 15 years of total dive experience and over five years of instructing. Tim was first a certified instructor through SSI and then became a SDI instructor when the store opened in 2005. Tim has a lot of experience diving in exotic locations such as Roatan Honduras as well as many high altitude dives around the local area.
