Western Illinois Home Health Care provides third party reimbursed services (Medicare, Medicaid, Veteran's Administration, Private Insurance Companies) to people in their home setting. The Byers felt the need, early on, to expand and offer additional services that may be needed to help people remain in their homes. A sister agency, Western Illinois Managed Home Services, was established in Galesburg, Illinois to provide care to clients in all age groups and offer expanded hours of service with up to 24-hour coverage in a home if needed. Since opening in 1981, Western Illinois Home Health Care and Western Illinois Managed Home Services have grown to their present size of over 80 employees. Ron and Barbara have made a commitment to their staff and to the community they serve. The agency mission statement and vision statement shown below summarize that commitment.
