C-Sharp Productions is an independent record label and project recording studio in Minneapolis, MN. C-Sharp was started in 1996 by singer/songwriter/producer Chad Sharp. It was started in Mitchell, SD where it stayed until late 2006. Chad has been playing keys since third grade. He has years of recording and playing experience. he is also a 1997 grad of The Recording Workshop School for the Recording Arts in Chillicothe, Ohio. C-Sharp Productions works to find and develop new bands and recording artists, primarily from the upper midwest. "There is a lot of talent out here in the heart of our country," Sharp says. "My goal is to find these acts and help them develop their careers." C-Sharp strives to use not only conventional promotion, but also new technologies like MP3 and the internet to get music heard around the world. Bands and artists can hire C-Sharp Productions to produce and record their projects in a very laidback environment. "We are in the midwest, so it is a very laidback, creative place," Sharp explains. "It allows everyone to be just a little more relaxed and creative." C-Sharp Productions has had music featured on national and international TV and radio including music used on MTV's "Made." The company has also logged over 1 million downloads since its start in 1996. C-Sharp is a music company that still believes that music and the artists are what matter most. Each artist that is signed to C-Sharp Productions is not only promoted online, but they get in front of their audience by doing live shows and tours.
