Brix Bistro & Wine Bar combines fresh and affordable Italian dining in a warm and inviting neighborhood restaurant. Contemporary design with light colors, warm knotty pine wood and stained glass deliver a rustic, yet modern version of an Italian bistro. Our menu consists of daily hand-made pastas, hearty grilled entrees, regional Italian dishes and exquisite desserts made with the freshest seasonal ingredients. The term "brix" is a measurement system used to determine sugar content of grapes and wine. "Brix" is the optimum degree of grape ripeness at harvest for the majority of table wines. With over 140 different styles of wine from around the globe, our wine program offers something for everyone's palate and pocketbook. We also feature over 20 wines that are available by the glass and half carafe, as well as 20 bottles of wine for only $20. Brix is located in the Excelsior & Grand development in St. Louis Park, MN. The restaurant serves Lunch 11-4p Monday through Friday and dinner from 4pm-close Monday through Sunday. We can accommodate large parties of all sizes and offer a private dining room for special parties or meetings. When weather permits, we offer al fresco dining in our large courtyard patio. Daily happy hour features include half-priced carafes of over 20 wines, $3.00 well cocktails and a small plates menu from 3-6 pm. We encourage reservations, although they are not necessary. Free parking is available in the Excelsior & Grand parking ramps. Valet service is available during the winter.
