Brass Light Gallery, headquartered in Milwaukee, WI specializes in designing and manufacturing architectural lighting. In addition, the company has been selling and restoring rare vintage and antique lighting since 1974. Our lights adorn hotels, restaurants, continuing care communities, libraries and fine homes around the country where design is critical. We are a favorite of architects and designers due to our capacity to handle volume orders and the ability to customize standard fixtures from our six collections. This initial one-person operation was fueled by Architectural Art History studies and true appreciation for the integrity of good design. The years of restoring vintage and antique fixtures have given us a strong design foundation for the production of our lighting. Originally located in one building on south Fifth Street in the Walker's Point neighborhood, Brass Light Gallery has grown considerably in size, to include a 12,400 square foot showroom housed in an 1860's Italianate Revival style building, a bright and modern manufacturing facility, a vintage storehouse, and a twelve floor warehouse and distribution facility. Despite all this growth, Brass Light Gallery remembers its roots. Born and raised on Milwaukee's near south side, Brass Light Gallery's founder and president Stephen Kaniewski has made a commitment to keep the company in the heart of Milwaukee. Many of our employees live within walking or biking distance of our facilities. Although our employees are "Milwaukeans" we are a diverse company with employees hailing from more than 30 countries. Recognizing employees' individual talents, whether old world craftsmanship or modern technical skills, fuels new ideas for efficiency in production and innovative product development.
