Marlborough is a historic farming community located in the beautiful Hudson Valley, about 70 miles from New York City. To the west the rugged hills, with their pristine aquafers, fall eastward to the fertile Lattintown valley abundant with fruit and vegetable farms. Further east lies the Route 9W commercial corridor, including the Hamlets of Marlboro and Milton. From the hamlets the land falls off dramatically with waterfalls and cliffs to the Hudson River where there is a riverfront park, restored 1885 train station and marinas. The abundant natural resources of the community include its citizens. We have a wonderful mix of historic farming and business families combined with an influx of people looking for a better place to live and raise their families. This gives the town an unusual balance of old and new, of traditional values and forward thinking ideals.
