Since 1977, Marin Horizon School has maintained a tradition of superior education while providing a nurturing and caring environment for all who walk our halls. Our philosophy is that children have a natural curiosity that, when cultivated and challenged, will promote an intrinsic love of learning and a passion for knowledge as its own reward. We have a vibrant parent community that values all aspects of diversity, has a strong dedication to community service and enjoys the partnership they share with MHS in educating their children. Because of the foresight and generosity of many of our past and current families, we are fortunate to be in construction on a beautiful new facility which will house our 4th through 8th graders and will provide them with a space that works with as much purpose as they do. We are proud to say that our graduates are successful at top Bay Area High Schools and the finest colleges in the country. MHS continues to maintain meaningful relationships with both our alumni students and their families.
