Sunrise Orchards is a family owned and operated apple orchard located in the beautiful Champlain Valley town of Cornwall, VT. Since 1971 we have been growing fresh apples for our on-farm, retail pick-your-own and for various local wholesale customers around the New England region. We grow traditional New England varieties such as McIntosh, Macoun, Gala, Paula Red, Cortland, Empire, Honeycrisp and Granny Smith. We also grow more "cider specific" varieties such as Harry Masters Jersey, Dabinett, Wickson, Golden Russet, Esopus Spitzenburg, Somerset Redstreak, Yarlington Mill and Ashmead's Kernel for many different cider makers. Dedication to our community, our staff, the ecology of our farm and agricultural innovation is what inspires us every day! Our business is in operation year-round and open to the public during the fall harvest from the middle of August through the end of October.
