The Meriden Business & Learning Center (MBLC) is a not-for-profit facility organized to meet the training and development needs of area employers. MBLC has accomplished this by coordinating existing training resources, assisting employers in obtaining state and federal funding and by developing related business services as requested by the business community. Originally established in 1998 as a unique collaborative of city, state and private sector enterprises, MBLC incorporates a variety of resources into one center focused on the job training and business development needs of the region. We utilize instructors from adult education programs, vocational schools, colleges, universities, community-based agencies, consulting firms and private training organizations. As an entity developed by and for the business community, MBLC strives to eliminate the confusion often experienced by business owners and managers in seeking out appropriate training resources.
