Grange Co-op offers both Agricultural Membership and a Non-Member Patronage Dividend Program. Non-member patronage dividends are available to everyone who signs up and has purchases of $500.00 or more in a calendar year. Typically, 20% of the dividend is paid in cash and 80% is paid in equity credits. Agricultural Membership is for full and part-time farmers and ranchers. Normally, 30% of the dividend is paid in cash and 70% is paid in equity credits. The equity credits are paid back to patrons at the discretion of the board after reviewing the cash flow position of the cooperative. Returning profits to its members has been standard at Grange Co-op since being founded over 70 years ago when 99 farmers each contributed $10 to buy property, a truck and gasoline. Equity checks will be mailed out to members who qualify in November. Grange Co-op, which was established in 1934, has grown steadily over the last 72 years to now include six retail stores, a grain elevator, agronomy center, bulk petroleum plant and three cardlock fueling stations.
