Porter Consulting Engineers, P.C. (PCE) is a professional consulting firm providing a full range of civil and environmental engineering services and land mapping services to both public sector and private sector clients throughout Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, and southwestern New York. As part of our commitment to effectively provide services throughout the region, PCE has two office locations in northwestern Pennsylvania. Our offices are located in the City of Erie and the City of Meadville. The projects completed by PCE ranges from the preparation of preliminary alternative evaluations and cost estimations to the complete design and management of large multimillion-dollar commercial and industrial developments. However, a commitment that PCE maintains with all its clients, regardless of project size, is to provide high quality professional services in a timely and cost-effective manner. PCE's senior staff has in excess of 40-years of combined experience in the consulting engineering field, and they have knowledge and experience with a broad range of projects. PCE has extensive engineering experience including the areas of building and land development, infrastructure systems, stormwater management, water and wastewater systems, waste management, regulatory compliance, structural design and analysis, and site mapping. PCE utilizes its experience to develop engineered solutions and project designs to meet the individual needs of each client's project. PCE maintains a network of state-of-the-art engineering and general office computer systems, complete computer aided drafting and design (CADD) capabilities, electronic total-station and global positioning system (GPS) surveying and data collection equipment, and an extensive library of engineering software and references. The PCE staff routinely attends workshops and seminars in order to maintain a working knowledge of current technologies and their application in providing practical solutions for client projects. In order to ensure that the specific needs of each client are met, PCE listens to the client and assists them in determining appropriate project goals and objectives. The PCE staff values their client's input and maintains close contact and regular communications with each client throughout all phases of their projects.
